The goal of Fall Protection

The objective of the course is to provide participants with knowledge about the proper use and inspection of fall protection equipment, identifying fall hazards, and how to reduce the risk of fall accidents through planning and safety procedures.

Regulations

The course is based on the requirements in the Norwegian standard NS 9610:2020 and the regulation “Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid”, which address fall protection and work at height requirements.

Prerequisites

The course covers the requirements for theoretical training in fall protection, but the course participant must ensure practical training in addition to this theoretical training.
